Jim approached me to teach him some boxing, i was delighted to show him the ropes (excuse the pun!) and we soon began lessons.

As with most boxing sessions we started with footwork then moved on to basic punching and basic defence using bags and pad.  To learn to box at at any age can be daunting if youve never done before but my job as a coach is to make the experience fun and enjoyable.

I was suprised when Jim told me that he wished to learn to box, but saw it as a challenge and booked Jim in for his foray lesson.  He’s been developing at a good rate ever since.  stay tuned for future updates.
